So I'm looking for some advice that does not include alcohol or Barbiturates. Both my DDs are starters on their respective teams in the same organization. Both teams are state and metro champs last year. Younger plays 12A second year older plays 14A 1st year, I've been working with them since the older one was 9.They are very close, you mess with one you get them both. But when it comes to pitching they compete tooth and nail to the point I cant work them out together because it always becomes more about who throws harder and throws better movement/strikes than the other and working on form and mechanics becomes impossible. The other day they started competing about whose water bottle was colder on the way to practice. So here is the nightmare, Tonight they face each other for the first time in the circle.Because its a inner Organization game it has a rivalry game feel to it. The twelve's are flying down to the triple crown event in Santa Clarita next week and want a game. Its stressful enough watching your kid throw every half an inning. let alone top and Bottom the entire game. Plus Holy crap they are going to bat against each other.Do I cheer hits? which set of parents do I hang with, do I just stand behind the plate, or bury myself out beyond the outfield fence. I know I'm getting a little over spun up about this but I kind of hope my car breaks down on the way to the game. What will I have to deal with when this game is over. One set of parents will not be happy they lost the other ecstatic they won. I wont feel good about hanging with either one. ARGGG!
