It is an exercise in patience for sure. We have a great relationship with our PC. When we are there with him in the gym or at the field before practices I just sit my butt on the bucket and catch. If your daughter is anything like mine, she doesn't listen to a darn word you say anyway. Sometimes I think this is just out of spite! lol..
She will listen to her PC so I let him tell her everything. I don't say a word other than the occasional " Nice Pitch" at home I rarely mention anything unless she is REALLY doing something off the wall in her mechanics. I find this works well for me and keeps me from ruining her love for the game.
But, although I don't correct her ( much) and (try to) keep my mouth shut. I am always the first person she looks for on the bench ( I am the AC ) for a huge hug or high five after she get s a well timed or big strikeout. That right there makes the "exercise in patience " and all those hours of biting my toungue and just catching well worth it. !!!
