I have been searching high and low for actual video of a pitch thrown with good spin. So far all I can find is bullet spin or mostly bullet spin. Does anyone have a clip of a model or close to model RB spin in an actual full speed pitch?

Anthony Aresco has several videos on his channel "Tony Aresco." I'm not sure if there any good enough to see the spin, but it might be worth checking out.

Thanks Java. So backspin with a rotated axis is the reality of a good riseball? (this looks like 6-12 spin with an axis rotated about 45 degrees). Can I safely end my quest for perfect backspin now and just try to get "mostly" backspin?

Yep. I've found that a rising bullet or corkscrew has more speed than what Cat is throwing... and I have a devil of a time hitting either.

Sorta odd that there is so little video available, huh? Wonder what axis BH throws? You'd think he might have a video clip of that...

i remember a long time ago BH said the way alot of the female pitchers throw their riseballs,it's impossible to get a true 12-6 rotation.
so i took that as he does have a 12-6 rotation.

my dd has alot of spin. but it is not 12-6. it is bullet spin or sometimes a better axis. should she start trying to throw it in games? i thought she should wait till she got a solid line on the ball, with 12-6 rotation.
