Filming from catching position. Looks very high from that perspective but it was just out of zone.

What are her cues for the release? Can't say I've ever seen spin like that!

Turn the door nob. The hand cuts under the ball and the pitch is finished by coming across the body like a curve but keeping the palm up. We just started working the pitch in practice.

You would need to get the tape perpendicular to the axis to tell what is going on with that rotation. The tape orientation is all over the place (horizontal, vertical, angled.. ).

The tape is wrapped around the four seam. The pitch is thrown with the modified rise ball grip shown some 40 pages back. The split of the fingers with middle finger being on the two seam. In person the tape forms a dot at the leading edge. The tighter the dot the quicker the spin.

Ideally I want the spin axis orientated with the dot pointing to the left toward the 10 o'clock position. The bullet spin, counter clockwise is from releasing a little to late. My DD's wrist bent to much and her fingers curled. The 6 to 12 axis or 4-10 spin the wrist locks out the fingers flatten and the thumb comes under the ball.
