The early pronation we talked about it specific to your daughter... as she whips the ball so well that it's harder for her to take speed off the pitch. The girl in this video appears to be releasing the ball in the slot... well okay she is... but that has more to do with her throwing shoulder... leaking energy forward. This is an extremely effective pitch for her but we are constantly working on keeping her shoulder back. You can see that she lifts the ball very well... and gets her fingertips forward.

I'll send you your high speed version this evening... perhaps you can share the link if she's cool with it... it's pretty good for a first attempt.

Sure, I don't mind sharing... that camera is freakin amazing...

I guess since it's a video thread, it's not hijacking if I share the other vid you shared with me. When she saw this one she was stoked and said "The muscles in my arm look like Amanda's!"

when throwing this Change, Ive found you have much better control if you maintain some degree of elbow flexion down the backside.
your dd looks pretty "locked out" in her first attempts.
(compare bend in this vid, to the drop ball vid posted after)

With stiff arm like that I see kids struggle to control the pitch low/high,
often resulting in "rollers" or "hangers".

Just trying to help.
keep working that Change - shes off to a great start with it, it looks like!

I recently picked a RunCam 2 for my race quadcopter. I found out it will shoot 720/120 and sends out a wifi signal so you can view and remote control it from a phone or tablet.

Seems to be a pretty rugged gadget as demo'd in this crash at the TRAC in Pasco, WA:

BTW, the TRAC sports complex is very nice!

I kept thinking while watching, "Wow, he's getting pretty good....and 'testicular'". Did it do much damage to to the quad?

That was my best outing yet. I learn more with every battery. I crash at least once per outing and so far the only thing I've broken are props and occasionally the plastic motor mounts and arm hinges (all of which are designed to be weak to protect the motors and carbon fiber arms/frame.) Everything is replaceable and easy to swap out. Unless something were to go terribly wrong with the electronics, I usually can get it back up and flying in a few minutes. These things are designed to crash and crash often. I've been told if you don't go through a prop or two per outing, you're not trying hard enough!

I am worried about breaking the camera, so I've been going through a few batteries to get warmed up before mounting it and recording. The bummer is that it changes the feel/flight characteristics and it usually takes at least one battery to adjust.

Recently started working with some green screen footage... and one really neat thing about working with 4k footage on my new Sony is that you can down-sample 4k video to 4:4:4 chroma subsampling in HD. This makes for some monster files... but allows you to pull a perfect key with zero artifacts... something digital video has always suffered from.
