This gardening bench, with wheels, keeps me lower than a bucket and keeps my pitchers from throwing high, when pitching to their catchers.

I get a lot of positive comments on it and the softballs fit underneath it.

We have one of these. A little too low for my legs (6'6") but VERY sturdy little roll-around and the perfect height for my wife.

Amy, this is brilliant! Especially having the room under for softballs for the multitude that my daughter invariably throws out of my reach. Great idea!

edit...just found it on walmart for $26, shipped to the store. Thanks!

I have often wondered just how much weight a bucket of balls, will hold.I think it must be nearly 400 lbs., in some cases.

If you are not shapely, try that mechanic's creeper.

"Fully assembled
Weight limit 250 lbs. "

Its for you dainty types. Does it come in XXL?

Hah! Didn't even look at that. I'm right around 190-200 though and it sure seems like it could hold alot more with no problems.

I love it for the storage aspect. The seat could be a little more comfortable. I actually found it less comfortable than the upside down rectangular kitty litter bucket that I was using. Going to get myself a stadium seating cushion next. :)

FWIW, the bench has the added benefit of providing fun for my DD's who like to use it to roll back and forth on the front porch where it sits when not in use. I told my wife that she is welcome to use if for gardening but if I go to use it for catching my DD that it had better be loaded with softballs and relatively clean or else she would lose the privilege. :p

You know, I may be on to something with this thing. One of my students wanted one for her birthday. She wanted to put her stuffed animals in it.

But we could put a little back on it, a 'jewels protector" for the guys and put wings on the side to protect my legs.
