I was shocked at the lack of overhand throwing ability. The stiff motions and rainbow throws were killing me.

What's really amazing is all of those kids throwing rainbows can get around on 58 MPH fastballs from 40' when they are at the plate!!! LOL

as an experiment I went back and forth between dvr recordings of the LL 12U and the PGF 14u championship....PGF pitcher for the batbusters 14U was showing 55 ish. and it looks a lot faster than the 58s in the LL. Looked at the 16us in PGF and Elish was showing 60-61 there but it looked about twice as fast as the LL 58. Conclusion- I want one of the guns used at the LL series, my DD needs the ego boost.

Pitch counts factor in this tournament, correct?

I watched two games today, and saw some ok pitchers, and some atrocious ones. Im guessing i may have not seen a single #1 due to pitch count limitations?

Ive heard that to do well in this tournament, you must have at minimum 2 solid pitchers, 1 pretty good, and 1 "emergency arm".
True?

To stay on topic: i didnt see anything that even flirted with 50mph today.
