We had no notice and she didn't warm up.

The coach is setting these pitchers up for failure. I would nicely let the coach know that the players will pitch better if they are properly warmed up before and during the game between innings. If the coach still doesn't get it, then you need to warm her up yourself before the game. She should follow are set warm-up routine that she follows every time she pitches. Not only will the routine make her more comfortable and confident before she pitches, she will perform better in the circle having warmed up properly. Have you considered managing your own rec team? You seem to have an interest in fastpitch.

Their standard practice is to warm the girls up properly in this league, but my husband just asked if she could and we just went for it. The president of our league is resigning and is holding a meeting in Nov. I told them I would be glad to help out where I could.

Third Pitcher:
Pitcher(12U) that isn't quite ready to face real batters: I told her i wanted to work with her on pulling the ball down for more speed and she nodded yes.

Second Pitcher:
My DD -she wont listen to me: I got a new app on the phone to capture her when she is behind and trying to ensure a strike 'WII bowling leaning forward issue'. Watching the recording I noticed she throws an I/R pitch for her "Slurve-ball" (Was her original 10U pitch that was fixed to a normal fastball 70%of the time its a Screwball spin / 30% its a curveball spin (she says she doesn't know why) yet she seems to throw them faster than the fastball.

First Pitcher:
Her dad is trying fix her I/R - We use the Power Drive and I told him to re-watch the AmandaS 1000 fps for what looks to be to be an IR pitcher. He said he watched it a few times and is interested.

I've thrown about 500 IR pitches left handed to teach myself .. I have to keep going back to the Magician drill .. So far it seems less painful on the shoulder, I seem to throw outside edge with a 1to7 spin

this is sage advice to all parents out there.

introducing new concepts through a "teacher" vs coming from mom or dad directly can really ease the learning process a lot - depending upon the personalities involved. In my case, my DD will exhibit *waaaaay* less frustration when working on something new the first time with a PC vs me. She will take in the advice and remain patient while she learns to implement. After PC session I'll work with her on the same concepts and things usually go famously. But if I'm the one to introduce new things initially, frustration/tantrums ensue, and practice session will commonly end in tears. (My DD just turned 10) YMMV...

I figured this out a long time ago. Even when I'm one of the team coaches, I try to have the other coaches instruct my kids because they listen to them so much better.

You mentioned above about using an app for your phone? Which app was it and have you found it to be beneficial? Would you recommend any other apps?

I had the talk with my DD to change over from HE to IR. The past 6 months during our TB season we were working on the IR arm whip from the "K" position to get a jump start on the transition. We did some showcase tournaments and team camps so we are about to get started on making the transition. Wish us luck!
