Thread: Elbow issue

Setting up to take my DD to the doc. She is just coming off a hip issue and is working pitching, finch windmill, spin right, since she has been off for months, and it seems she has a pain in her elbow....she describes it like hitting her funny bone. She experiences it when throwing overhand and we thought her mechanics where the problem, seemed she could pitch, bat with no pain unless she hurt it throwing overhand first. We haver her on anti inflammatories and ice.

My friends kid had a very similar, if not exact thing. Doc diagnosed Little Leaguers elbow. She could pitch fine, but couldn't throw overhand without pain. Doc pinched her elbow in a certain spot and knew what it was right away. Lots of rest and ice.

That may also indicate she isn't throwing the ball overhand properly.
