My 14yo DD pitches 5 days a week. 1 session with her PC. 2 sessions with her catcher before team practice and 2 days of tournament. She has been averaging 2 starts per 4 games played with the current team (they have 3 pitchers on roster). I would estimate she throws 350-450 per week. The last couple of weeks has been less due to rain and end of school year events.
My DD doesn't ice, but maybe she should. We have only used ice when there IS an injury, and her shoulder/arm has been fine so far.
