    Default Safety Question

The last time I asked this it quickly got off topic. With all the discussion of masks and evo shields, does the stike zone matter in safety. More and more I am seeing smaller strike zones and balls getting hit hard up the middle. I am a fan of corners but not all umpires call them and many umpires strike zones are not even close as defined to the rule book. I can deal with that. I also believe in the middle out the middle. My DD pitches its not about walks and hits its about does down the middle or sweet over the plate effect safety for a pitcher?

Yes, if the pitcher pitches right down the middle for what ever reason she should expect to see more balls hit hard back up the middle.

Any hittable location can be hit back at the pitcher.A pitch to the outside, swung at a tiny bit early, right back at the pitcher.

Biggest advice here; DONT LET THEM HIT THE BALL!
