As far as NFHS and NCAA pitching rules go, I would also, right now, change how she steps on to the pitchers plate. She must step on with her hands apart, then either take a sign or simulate taking a sign, and then she can bring her hands together. If she takes the sign from behind the pitchers plate, she still has to step on with hands apart and simulate taking the sign (pause) and then bring the hands together. llegal pitch every time as it looks right now and maybe in a game situation she does it the proper way. You might as well have her establish the routine now instead of 100,000 pitches down the road when it starts to matter. And it will start to matter.
