stockpile, 1 word for you: Hillhouse. I see he's listed a lot of his fall/winter dates which has many scheduled for Portland Maine. There's been several people from New England on this forum that say they've gone to Portland when he's there. If it's like the other places he goes, there's probably a close by hotel that offers a deal and you could do multiple lessons.

The reason I asked, it looks really large.

That was my thought as well. It's a massive glove. I'm a 28 year old woman and I play with a 12 inch glove.

She's got a lot of talent, it's hard to see from the videos you have, but her arm circle doesn't appear to be a circle, there's quite a bit of bend.

SO we will be going to see Mr. Hillhouse in Maine. Looking forward to that. In the meantime, DD is pitching in a 10U "B" Travel League. I'm noticing that she is relatively fast compared to others in this "B" League. She is enjoying success when she does not give up walks. Attached is a game video from last evening. The opponent had some good players but a weak bottom of the lineup. The top of the order hit our starting pitcher pretty hard. DD pitched two innings starting with the last batter in their lineup, 4Ks, 2 BB and two balls put in play to the infield. I'm very happy where she has come in only one year of pitching, but I temper my excitement based on the competition. THanks all! She is practicing daily and has been working on more of a push off and negative load as suggested by screwball. So...Here is a video. I welcome additional thoughts on her mechanics.

One quick note - I watched up until 1:25. She sometimes puts her hands together and then separates again and then, comes together again. That is illegal. They are calling that here in the Little League regionals. So, hands together and pitch.

Emphasize to her that she needs a firm front leg (almost straight) and keep the belly button toward 3rd, until the pitch is gone.

She has a lot more power available to her. I think that you are going to be very happy with what she can do.

I am not sure how far away they are from you relative to Portland, ME, but you might check out planet fastpitch- which is in Uxbridge, MA - if it is less distance.
