    Yes, crow hop/replant.

Don't like the way she finished to the side.

Like the movement on her pitches though.

I think she could also be out of the pitcher 24" lane, can't tell, she did have a lot of movement,I wont knock her,she put herself out there and I respect that

The most movement she has is before the pitch is thrown. I don't think she has an idea where the ball is going to end up when she releases the ball. She may have a general idea, but she is very inconsistent.

Boy I knew I would stir up a hornets nest. But that is ok I have my opinion and you all have yours so be it. But one thing I never said I worked with Bill. I talked with him at a NFCA conference and he gave a pitching clinic that I was at watching my niece in PA. Also google Don Sarno and you will see he is a member of Hall of Fame and he won numerous world championships as a pitcher for the Nite Hawks out of Long Beach. Oh he was the pitching coach for USA Olympic team for 1996 and 2000.

Coach Stan, I also believe Don Sarno is a very good PC and I have seen other pitchers taught by him to be very good. The young lady may be an effective pitcher but I have to agree with BM the DD in the video may not be one of his best. When I joined this forum, I heard so much about Hillhouse and bought the DVDs to see for myself. Bill relates very well and does breaks down the pitching motion in a understandable way for the novice person. There is nothing groundbreaking or new that Bill teaches but he has the ability to connect with people. I believe both have something to contribute to the softball world on pitching.

When I looked up Don Sarno on google, this video was one of the first things to come up. I was amazed at all of the things this kid did and was wondering how a pitching coach would work with her. I don't think I could coach that kid because I have no idea what she is doing. Maybe Don Sarno's not to blame for that but his name is associated with that video.

I didn't realize teaching pitching was a competitive sport. . . until now.

I wouldn't use that video of an example of anyones teaching. The kid says she had a pitching coach, and I can guess that she may have had a hitting coach, but she neither pitches or hits with very good mechanics. Probably one of those kids that just doesn't listen or take instruction well.

It's not a competitive sport, but somebody put up a stupid statement about somebody being the "best of the best of the best" (Men in Black quote) and saying they were better than someone else. I was trying to point out the folly of that statement.

Really? You didn't know that until now? I've noticed it ever since my DD started going to clinics and taking lessons. The things you hear boggle the mind.
