To maintain a good swing , and or learn and maintain a good swing.
How many times a week? How many swings each session? Lets say this is with a multi - sport player. Off season & In season. How many swings? Straightleg

You can't put a number on it. Everybody learns at different paces. Given the schedule, start with once a week and see how progress is going. It will likely be slow. To accelerate the process, add more practice. But make them good ones -- it's just as easy to practice doing things wrong as doing things right.

Ken is right. I see too many athletes give a lack of effort in their swing, during practice.
A person using good form can swing everyday. A successful HS program, that I know of, has them hit 50 balls off the tee every day, even during basketball. The thing is, the girls want to do this. |
