Ifubuildit who is on here is somewhere in the Dallas area and I think owns Right View stuff but Dallas area geography escapes me. I recommend him for face to face instruction. There's some other smart guys up there one of which gives pitching lessons. He knows hitting too but I never asked him if he teaches hitting. Probably does. I'll look at your video clip next. Got curious about the instructor in the Southlake area first.
Thanks Mark for the feedback, I'm new to the FP world as this is my daughters second year of FP and I have been volunteer coachin on all of her teams. The instructor in Southlake is Mark Mulvany, he is the owner / instructor out of the Southlake Softball Academy . Here is his blog which is updated pretty frequently.

This is what is confusing to me, many people recommend Englishbey while others do not feel the same. I am in the process of contacting him and possibly setting up a face to face. Hit Dr.24 why do you feel this way towards Englishbey?

Go see Steve and judge for yourself. I promise you it will not be a disappointment and he will help your child improve their hitting. Have had him at my home and have assisted him with clinics.

Very good instructor.

Elliott.

I've asked alot of very good people in the game of fastpitch from around the country, not one person has said that they would send their kid to him,Hillhouse or Kubata. The word is they make up their own stuff and they have never seen a high level player that has worked with them.

Hmmm...well, I'm pretty sure that there are some college FP players that have been coached with Steve's ideas. Hillhouse I agree with, I think his problem is that there is a difference between men's fastpitch and women's fastpitch (both the rules and the pitchers), and as for Kubata, I've heard that his fielding techniques are pretty solid, but his actual classes aren't as good (due at least in part to one of his co-instructors, I believe).

Yes, there are college Pac 10 players as well as others in top 20 D1 schools Steve has worked with but he's not much on bragging about it.

I may be using the wrong terminology. I'm talking about the four arrow/direction keys. Once you get it playing, use the left and right key to step through the clip frame by frame. This works for quicktime. You can frame by frame in windows media player but it's a little more trouble and doesn't work as well.

Anyone check out Mark Mulvany's blog? If so do you think he would be a good instructor based on his blog and his analysis? Thanks again.
