Judging from some other the other hitting topics , it seems that all instructors have things that they consider to be "absolutes" for a solid , quality swing. I would like to hear opinions on what you think those "absolutes" are. Thanks

The link below is pretty simple in describing 6 Absolutes:
John Mallee 6 Steps of a Major League Swing Hitting Tips - YouTube
John Mallee's 6 Absolutes of a Professional Hitter - YouTube
Listed:
1. Load (coil)
2. Separation (stride, hands back)
3. Hip leads
4. Maintain center axis of rotation
5. Knob of the bat directly into the hitting zone (inside the ball), with barrel lag
6. Rear arm fully extends through contact
There are no Absolutes in hitting. Even though it sometimes seems nessessary while working with my DD, I can't recomend alcohol of any type...untill after, then a couple beers do seem like an absolute.![]()
See ball, Hit ball!
Absolut Vodka, very popular in vodka martinis. Absolutes would be multiple martinis. Hitting Absolutes just brought back old memories,... sorry.
