    It is easy to make the finish look pretty and think they on the right track. If the back foot is coming that far forward I would guess the base is pretty narrow to begin with the the upper body is pulling the back leg forward after contact.

    Which means the upper body is leading the lower body.

    Well-
    I think you are describing the disconnected arm swing.
    What I was describing was a swing that stays connected until contact but is long.

    Yes, I think this decribes it best.

    Also, I can't detect any seperation of the upper and lower body.
