I don't completely agree with this being an all-back/all-forward movement. Her hands are coming up and back as she is striding forward, and her hands aren't coming forward until after heel plant. What we usually see in an all-back/all-forward movement is the hands and stride both moving forward together. In that regard, I think this hitter is at a good starting place.

A do agree that the video has some helpful information.

I also agree that the weight shift over the outside of the rear foot is an issue. The pressure against the ground should be on the inside edge of the rear foot, with the knee staying ahead of (towards the pitcher) the ankle.

On second look she does reach back as she goes forward with stride foot, I still see the sequence as off but maybe it just looks funny because her weight is still all back. I would focus on posture so she is balanced and then reassess sequence. I put stills at heel plant and its not as bad as I thought except for posture.

To me there is no 'out of sequence'. There is no sequence. Hitter just leans back and goes. The separation the hitter seems to get is probably 'muscling up' to power her swing as her front leg reaches out. Hitter needs to learn the correct sequence. Coil, load ect......and oh yeah there's also the level to the ball type swing that needs to be corrected.

I'm back with a couple of game swings, and they appear worse to me compared to the tee swing everyone has looked at. There is no sequence and it looks like she hits the ball with all arms. She lined this one to the CF on one hop and they got a force out on the runner going to 2nd.
Let me know what you all think.

There is no sequence
You are correct.
