Does anyone have experience with HeavyBat trainer from HeavySwing.com?

No experience. Handle weighted is what catches my attention.

Maybe the Palmguard weighted gloves or the Procut knob weights on the bat you already swing might be a better option than the almost $200 price?

I have an 8 ounce Procut knob weight, use it fairly regularly but it's no miracle deal.

I like the RTM club by Weck Method for core work. You don't make full swings. Stop at the point you want to make contact. Having the shot in the end transfer when stopping the swing makes you work.

I checked out the RTM club on the Wrecked Method website and it looks pretty cool. They also have several videos demonstrating exercises for baseball (which would certainly translate well for softball). What weight club are you using with the RTM club? I would think that the 4lb club would be good for a 16-18U team.

4 Lbs is good for younger girls. I think 6 Lbs. Club would work best the girls that age. You can sure feel it when you swing a Ty Cobb split grip. Do left then right side reps. Any bat feels like a toothpick after that.

We have also used the Pro Cut weights which attached to the bottom of the bat with good results. Less costly route than the heavyswing bats but similar concept.

My DD's hitting coach and one of the other coaches who played baseball in college thought it was a good tool to use. Since I got a good deal on one, I picked up a Swing XP 45
