Just my opinion, but I wouldn't worry about the double load. I am a fan of creating "rhythm" and this just looks like her "style" in regards to doing that. As long as she gets where she needs to be, I don't mind it. I agree with the others that she could use some more stretch/separation, but based on her age, I think she is fine. And her presence in the box leads me to believe that those things will develop naturally with time and practice. In regards to this particular pitch.... Again, my opinion. But it looks to me like she may have been fooled just a little and is making an adjustment mid-stream. I would need to see more swings to confirm that "guess" on my part. Overall I think she is in good shape and would simply spend more time in the cage working on her craft. Just my 2 cents. Enjoy!

Interesting. I'm not as technical as some others, so I'm sure there is more to work on...but I would start with getting rid of the double load. I was a bit off base referring to a double stride...she didn't step in the game swing on the first load. I don't think the hand separation or sequencing looks too bad on the tee swings...I would suggest, these things look worse in the original video because of the double load. So, my suspicion is that you haven't found the right language to get her to understand what she is doing with the double load. Sometimes what you say to one person doesn't click with another...sometimes two different players will hear the same coaching and take it completely differently. So...you may need to rephrase things for her to get it...I would say, when her hand separation and stride/toe touch are happening at the same time (as they should) the swing looks pretty good. She does it nicely on the tee...progress to easy soft toss...easy front toss...harder front toss...focusing on keeping the same rhythm with the hand separation and stride paired together. Also...based on the live swing, I get the sense she wants to start too early...so it will take a lot of repetitions for her to feel the timing. One last thought...in the live shot and the first tee swing, she is making contact pretty far out front...she has to reach out, pulling the head and shoulders farther forward, altering her bat path, and likely making contact at a weaker part of her swing. Look at the tee swings...she is maybe 6 inches closer on the second swing and I feel like her contact point and upper body positioning are better...so is the bat path. Be careful about tee placement...you are creating muscle memory...if you create muscle memory of a lunging out front swing, that is what you are likely to see.

I was going to mention that she looked anxious in her live game swings. Perhaps having her work on going up the middle/right field in front toss/BP might help some with that. If you look at how MLB take BP you will see a lot of them work opposite field to start off
their sessions.

Tee swing needs work also. Same 'sway' is in DD's tee swing as can be found in live at bat. As others have stated, tee to far out in front which has DD hitting 'around' the ball at almost full extension. All back, all forward one piece spinning swing.

I'm seeing a downward barrel path through contact, like we saw on the game swing. As mentioned before, this is a recipe for the ground balls and pop ups indicated in the OP.

Hand path on the load is going back and around versus staying over her back foot and driving back and up. Sorry if this was mentioned before but I didn't read any of the other posts. I also would like to see her bat tip towards the forehead a little more and her front shoulder stay"in" a little longer. IMO it's opening up a little early. It seems to me that her hands are initiating the swing versus the hips driving rhe hands and that she is a little "disconnected" JMHO.

What would be your approach (drills, specific changes and how to implement, etc) to improve her swing? Again, thanks for all the great feed back!!

Many of the problems that I mentioned are simply due to the loading of the hands and bat by pulling them back and around the body. The step out drill is typically what I use to fix this issue and the others that I mentioned. Start your DD with feet closer together and have her step out to her normal stride length 'falling ' forward. Leave the hands over the back foot. It's just like falling away from the hands. As she falls forward away from her hands, or as some like to say on here, walking away from them, the hands should be going slightly higher in order for her to go into bat tip. Basically, the hands do not move except to go up. Then go into the swing. Having your DD move up on the tee will fix keeping the shoulder in longer because she'll be able to extend through contact.

There are some other issues that I would be working on as well. I'm not a fan of a big negative load but as far as I'm concerned, it's more of a style thing as long as the hips stay inside the back foot and the weight's not stacking over the back leg. Having said that, the next thing I'd be working on would be keeping the hand path higher and more level. Your DD's hand path is on a downward slope which is causing the barrel path to follow suit.
