She needs to keep her hands back just a bit longer. Right now her hips and hands move as soon as her foot hits the ground. Her hips should shift just before (just like the way a pitchers hips are shift weight before the pitchers hand comes through to pitch) the hands move. It's just a slight movement. It's a swing good swing the bat path is very good. She stays the inside of the ball. Negative movation maybe a little too much but I can't see how fast her hands are in slow motion. The bat head should normally be at about a 45 degee angle. But I have seen it more with players with very quick hands. She is has some little things to work on. Love the extention at the end of the swing. I bet she hits pretty long drives. I hope that helped.

Stretch and Fire.

Search SNF, there is a ton of stuff to read about it. Tip and rip drill would be another good one for her.

Good swing...could be a great swing if M learned to use her HANDS to 'turn the barrel forward'. Right now it's a 'push' swing.

TeamM, do you see how she is taking everything back - holding - and then taking everything forward? Do you see how the hands have to drift forward with the body when she does that?

Her middle should be re-positioning forward while her rear stays back. Her hands should not be moving back, they should be staying back. She should try to keep her rear knee back as she is moving out. If you want to get the feeling of getting the hands back, you need to learn how to stretch if forward. Cryptic I'm sure... :D

Said or asked another way:
Are his hands going back, are they going forward or are they pretty much staying in the same place (not talking up/down but rather distance from pitcher) - while he moves/reposition

Put your mouse pointer/arrow on Miggy's hands helps to see what Howe is explaining.
