Absolutely agree with this...
One fires what one loads.

This hitter below loads the hands by "walking away", then she fires.
She is incapable of what Ortiz does with his: He loads his core, and then fires with his core. The scapula is the fulcrum and a critical element of the core. It is front and center to what orchestrates the activity in the upper extremity in BOTH the throw and high level swing.

Excellent hands vs very poor hands ?

Hugo is the Bryce Harper of softball. She is athletic enough to adapt and succeed in collegiate play. In my opinion, she "golfs" the ball. She has no scapula. I would not consider her a model swing.
What nonsense. Hitters adapt to the pitch they get. Or is Manny a golfer too???

And this example - attempting to show "poor hand usage" - should be thrown in the trash - but it won't. Of course it was taken out of context and put side/side with a hitter with a completely different assignment....

TeamM, be very careful who you get your advice from.

Here you go folks, Manny's a golfer with really poor hands. :D

Oh, and I almost forgot. Harper's not an elite hitter, he only puts up numbers like an elite hitter. BWAHAHAHAHA

Do you know why they don't like Hugo? She doesn't fit their narrative. She clearly loads the barrel before unloading and releasing the barrel. She loads the barrel INTO her swing. Her hands have a path FIRST. They can't factor that equation, so they selectively choose video's that are debatable. They attempt to downplay the success. It's a shell game of sorts.

Hugo is creating pre-swing balanced big movement stretch.

Which allows for balanced reactionary secondary stretch.

This movement allows for the hands to be free to adjust during the swing.. Focusing on loading the scap as an action will remove the freedom the hands need to be able to adjust/react to the pitch..

This scapper demo is pure fiction folks. Watch how tbao advocates hiding the hands - having to go around the body - to go "out from". And lefthook/gmx is promoting it. :D

What up,
You OutWork again and have time to go on a another Rampage? I’m curious to know how long until someone throws you a Curve Ball at the Ball Game where you respond with a Left Hook and get banned yet again. How many other aliases have I left out?

I don't agree with TBao opinion of Hugo. She has an excellent swing but I feel doesn't get the stretch that she could get.
Here's your chance to illustrate where the deficiency is. Please make a gif - marking the action/inaction that you speak of.

So Cal
I see her starting her swing with her hands. Try asking her to start her swing by turning her hips (belly button or belt buckle to the pitcher) - turn them early - as the hands continue up and back, and the shoulders stay closed. We want the hands being pulled by the rear hip, not pushing ahead of the rear hip.

I'm also curious to see her swing at full speed.
