I posted this because I like to watch these so called "BIG" movements. I see too many coaches trying to coach these "big" movements out of kids, thus they lose their natural athleticism. Further, sometimes it's easier to feel certain movements via "going big".

Individualized instruction is important. I am not in favor of coaching "big" movements out of hitters, unless the movement is causing an obvious problem. Likewise I am not in favor of coaching "big" movements into hitters if they are not needed. Allow each hitter to develop their "natural athleticism" on their own and stick to the important things. It is possible to get too tricky in either direction.

Found the information interesting that the average swing speed of an MLB home-run was 77mph.

Always nice to collect another outlined swing arc ....

What I like in the gif s the label on the bat. So many have now got into this turn the barrel or the palm to the pitcher. According to that theory that lable would make its way around a lot more than it does.
