Not here.
I am curious about the weight and using the back foot and leg, because of SNF.
In this drill and swing from the Rajun Cajuns, and Bonds, the foot and rear leg is used with ground forces, as compared to most MLB swings, where the rear leg is weightless, and hip extension is still applied. By using the hamstring, coiled tight to the hip, but NOT, on the ground.

All swings MLB,softball & tee ball use 'ground force'/forces'.
Seems some maybe confusing the 'look' of rear leg weightlessness as not be 'weighted' during the swing. The weightless look is a follow through after contact with the ball.

100 % Against. I do not think that "weight back" is correct. the weight is "Against", in this Puhols pic.

But on the "other end of the spectrum" would be Bonds, who at times, does not lose all the weight off the rear foot.

Mann - can you explain exactly what you mean by "hip extension". IMO, focusing on the center of mass instead of weight or pressure distribution would be more effective.

Not confused at all, can you really say rear foot is weighted? You can see this is before contact?

I must be confused because to me that rear foot has no weight on it rdbass.

I think this is where I am headed GM.
In other words, wether or not you use the ground to support your rear hip extension, or a weightless rear leg to support your rear hip extension, both ways are being used.

by extension I mean, Golf is a rotation sport right? You still need more hip extension | Stronger Golf

This could be an enlightening discussion to compare 2013 vs 2015 Lanphear to see if the problem is mechanical...... Is anyone capable of getting their hands on a 2015 gif?

hey good idea -

"I watched quite a few of the sec games this wknd - all I remembered seeing was Amanda's mug - my bad. Anyone have a freshman version of Cali's swing to compare to today's. She's currently hitting .291/2hr. Has the most strikeouts on her team at 18, but also leads her team in on base percentage. Her freshman year she hit .362/21hr. Curious if the announcer was correct in her assessment that she just had better pitches to hit "

I found the 2013 swing and FFS was kind enough to gif it. Why don't you look tonight for 2015 vid so that he can gif it?
