Still working on it. Tried starting a little more forward in stance.

I like the tee swing better. I keep 'focusing' on the rear foot/leg and the hand set and the differences between the 2 swings.

I like tee swing better too...watch the difference in the 2 swings especially in her front shoulder and core usage movement. She gets her left shoulder pointed at the 2nd baseman off the tee...front toss, left shoulder stays pointed at the pitcher.

Specifically, TDS' "cat\cow" can be seen in the tee swings not in the front toss swings...

I think this might be easy to fix the difference between the 2 just by starting her front leg move sooner. It seems to me like she bypasses some of her tee sequence because she is starting the front toss sequence "late."

Bat,
Are the black mats down for a reason. I see what you are doing with the back mat. Same as what you were doing with the block. I see your DD doing the same 'move' with the mat as she has done with the block. Is the mat in front placed there for a reason. It looks like it restricts your DD's swing. I think because of that your DD 'leaves' some power on the table.

The front mat is there to restrict/control her stride length a little bit. She loses some forward momentum and therefore may lose a little power but it seems the less forward momentum you have the more adjustable your swing is to different pitch speeds.

Nice swing. She (you) have clearly spent a lot of time on her hitting mechanics.

Just a question. Do you think the barrel is too vertical (or even past vertical) to be the most effective in live game situations (i.e. easily adjustable to pitch location?)
