Sorry about the video, I could not figure out how to flip and brighten.

With moving up this year, we have been working on her swing. She is 11 years old, 5'6"+, 170lbs, swinging a 34" 22.5 which is probably a little lite for her. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I don't know where to start to be honest with everyone.

Where I would start with is getting her hands to stay by her rear shoulder and keep her barrel up. Keep the barrel up then directly to the ball. The top of the barrel can arch to her right in a tight nike swooshish pattern, though I would just tell her to keep the barrel up and keep it above the ball. The barrel can NOT drop behind her like it is. She has to drag it back up to the ball.
I know keeping hands in tight to the shoulder and taking the barrel to the ball will fix a lot of the rest of her swing.

So Cal
She is dropping the barrel flat (or even letting the barrel get below her hands) behind her, and then swinging around her body with her arms. This is a long swing pattern that will start to struggle badly as pitching gets faster, and makes it difficult to hit pitches up in the zone. My suggestion is to learn about how to turn the barrel with the hands (hands are the center of rotation for the bat) and launch from the rear shoulder.

Repetition, repetition, repetition... :) I would suggest showing her the still photo that RHC posted and then show her the gif that Eric posted. Start with a high tee and ask her to replicate what Miggy is doing in the gif on the right. Then move on to front toss. If she can replicate, continue. If not, return to the tee. Rinse... Repeat.... Most importantly, have fun!

Yes,yes, start with high tee. Dare I say...learn to 'turn the barrel to the ball'. I would and do have my DD hit into a net or fence from about 3' (give or take)away. I'm looking for line drives into the net/fence. No grounders or pop ups. Learn to hit linedrivers off of a high tee. Then when your DD has that down start to lower the tee. The true test is line drives off a low tee at the knees.JMHO.
