Jessica Mendoza's style of hitting question

In that demonstration, you do see some squish, or pivot, IMO.
But in real life, I think you'll see something different, something that you sometimes have to slow down the video to catch. In this video, for example, you'll catch her on the toe around 0:04 (or better yet, at 0:13). Even with off-speed or outside pitches, I don't think Mendoza will spin/pivot the back foot in a game situation, unless she's fooled and desperate.
That said, she does have things in her swing that I'd love to hear comment on. She keeps the back elbow closer to the body throughout than what you'd see in almost every MLB hitter. She also seems to have more of an all-back, all-foward style vs. stretch & fire.

Mendoza was not a bug squisher. In her live games swings her "upper rear leg" led her "lower rear leg".

I wish she would lose that bright red lipstick she wears on every broadcast. She is a pretty lady, but that lipstick....just saying.
The Arkansas boys think she has a purty mouth.
But back to hitting. Agree with RDB, she gets some stretch, then pushes past it. Her humerus is externally rotated.

No doubt. I enjoy the times she has giving her thoughts on mlbers that didn't always put it on the line in the outfield (Cruz).

swing speed
I believe she had a swing speed of 72 about a year or so ago at an event tested by swing speed radar... The highest one tested which included a lot of top D1 players.
