I don't think she will ever get that behind the hip bat path you are looking for until she starts pulling her top half back against the spin. It's not just her leg spinning, her whole swing is spin. IMO turn the barrel is good, but alone IMO is not enough.

IMO you need to get the rag rung out in the rear hip socket, the separation and stretch up the rear side...pulling, to make turning the barrel effective.

Exactly - the barrel turn has to be behind the hip. Gotta start somewhere - figure out a better sequence and how to the swing behind the hip and then tighten it up or tighten it up as you learn to get behind the rear hip...

I like the bottom swing - good model - maybe just keep the HPP tighter.

Thanks for slowing them down Redhotcoach. Twin 1 looks like she gets off the back side pretty good and has a little coil in the lower half. Twin 2 is spinning the back foot / squishing the bug and seems to have a more linear load and less coil.

One thing I noticed is both girls' grips. Looks like they have the bat deep in their palms in the "death grip. Try to ge the bat out into the pad where the fingers meet the hand a little more and maybe rotate the "knocking knuckles" toward each other a little - you don't necessarily want the knocking knuckles lined up but somewhere in between (search this forum - there is a whole thread on this). The Bat Jack device and the Easton Turbo Slot batting gloves help with all of this. End result it will help them release the bat head much better as you get the sequence cleaned up.

Well I have a good starting point for the girls to work from. We'll do some work on these things and put them on video again in a week or so! I appreciate all the advice as it helps me dive deeper into my addiction of learning the swing! Just need to start messing with GIFs now and figure that out! Any good sites to go to that are fairly user friendly? I'm not a total computer dummy, but need a good place to start. Thanks again!
