Twin 1 has the same circular swing. Also some disconnection from upper and lower body. More upper body swing
. Her back elbow folds underneath the way I see it at fast speed.

Maybe some one here can slow her swing down for you

Just started working with her on that back elbow getting under too far. Any ideas on some drills to work that out - I have 2-3 girls that let that elbow get ahead. Only thing I can think of is one arm drills - but we all know how boring those are! Lol

Try some low tee work and also throw some soft toss at their knee caps or lower. Both drills will help move towards the nike swoosh type of bat path. They may have to bend or tilt at the waist a little to reach the low ones with the bat head.

Looks to me like they have been taught or are thinking "swing level" to some extent which may be contributing to the circular action Straightleg mentions. I also see a little "squish the bug". The walk up drill (i.e. Happy Gilmore) would help there and also with the overall sequence.

As others have said, slowing the video down some would help.

I will slow down each of their swings in a bit so you can get a better look. I believe if they work on the big thing, a correct sequence, get the lower to lead the upper, a lot of little things will fall into place.

Here is one my DD and I made 4=5 years ago. She just feels in slo motion what sequence her body parts go.

Thanks SL, that video gives a great view of the swoosh. It's also something I can show my girls on how your DD holds her hitters box at the start. Maybe if they 'just do it' (get it?) the sequence will kind of start falling into place too.
