    All upper body, no lower half at all. Need to really work from the ground up. Plenty of good older starting posts on here. Study the elite hitters.

    Agree. No load … no coil … basic sequence not in place … lower body spin … over-the-top arm-powered upper-body swing.

    Balance & Elvis Move - YouTube

    I posted this for another poster because his DD was squating.
    Hitter a past poster her talked about matrix drill.

    A slow motion sequence getting the back hip to lead should help your DD reverse the sequence she has now.

    Will try and make a new one while my DD is back from college. She has been working allot.

    Sorry it took me so long to get back to this, spent a lot of hours at work recently and then Christmas.
    Well, poop! That's not exactly the feed back I was hoping for but thanks. Watching the videos I could tell something just didn't look right but I couldn't put my finger on it.
    She has been going to a new hc since the end of summer. I thought things were coming along well but I guess there is still a lot of work to do.

    I agree with the others. The sequence should be Hips, Hands, bat Head. Her sequence is hands, bat head hips. She doesn't stay on the balls of her feet, which makes her lose her balance. Plus she pushes her hands at the ball, instead of keeping the hands back and throwing the barrel at the ball.

    Watch how his hips turn way before the hands and bat go, and how long he keeps his hands near his armpit;

    Here is a basic sequence;

    JBooth thanks for this gif and the other gif posted in another post. Alot to learn there. For the average dad easy to follow. I'm a visual learner and get kind of lost in some of the explainations.
    Locate the ball, get the barrel going and start directing it to the ball at the same time.
