Good for her. If you're a golfer, you'll know what I'm talking about here, but it's kinda like swinging a new driver at the range for the first time. You get up there and just start ripping this thing to the back of the range. All of a sudden there's a new driver in your bag, and then about a week later, you realize that you've still got the same old issues. I would bet that DD has been working very hard, and she just HAPPENED to have that bat in her hand when it all came together. I wouldn't think that the materials that this bat is comprised of would ALL OF A SUDDEN make her a powerhouse. Maybe the grip on the bat put her in a position that she's never been in before, and if that's the case, then it did it's job. I just have a hard time with a bat that you have to hit in the same spot everytime. I like the handle as a training tool, just not for game use. That's my opinion anyways. Some will disagree, and that's cool.

Both of my sons swung the Axe Maple composite and the BBCOR Element for their 2012 H.S baseball season and they really liked them a lot. Now my DD wants one and Ive been think of getting the youth wood bat for her to work with.
