Nothing wrong with a walk. Lots of games are won by someone getting on by BB.

I saw It posted by one person...."How effective was it" Well, I'd say pretty darn effective. They won last night! Like it or not life is about adapting. So to in sports we must to so. I saw Ricketts hit a home run tonight via and all arm horrible looking swing with no follow through. I maybe missing something here behind the scenes, but this post seems very hijacked at this point and off the OP's topic.

On another note, The whining about the rain tonight by Gasso is a good example of not being able to adapt. "The rain is causing my pitcher to loos grip" geesh...Alabama had to pitch in the rain the top half of the inning as well so what it the problem. Play Ball.

And now...Back to your regular scheduled station.

True ... so very true ... being able to adapt is key. Alabama adapted to the pitching all season ... last night, in the rain, it even appeared that the base runners adapted to the wet field conditions.

It's hard to argue with the result against a pitcher who is aruably the best in the nation.

What a great College World Series two fine teams and two fine programs battled it out till the last out.

My daughter and I had the pleasure of meeting the Alabama kids at camps she attended, I always felt these kids were special and I always appreciated them for how they and the staff made my daughter feel special at the camps she attended.

Congratulations to them on being College Champions.

PEPPERS, I agree he is a great coach and teacher. Hope the dd, finds that college fit for career choice. Tough major, but many love that line of work.
