Right Here For Now
Her weight's stacking over the back leg too much and the barrel's launching too much off of the back shoulder for my tastes. She'll have trouble with the inside low pitch if she continues this pattern due to her having to come across and around as opposed to "to and through." Try taking the bat tip more over her forehead and keeping the back elbow a tad more inside. Also, limit the negative load to keep the hips inside the back foot. JMHO.

No doubt she understands what you mean when you tell her to turn the barrel. IMO it looks like she coiling "into" her rear leg instead of "around" resulting in turning the barrel out in front. I would love to see the vid in full speed.....

Comment is for side toss video. What jumps out at me...Better take a look at hands and barrel path.

Then may be have a look at lower half. Tee swing would be a complete 'rebuild' swing. Again JMHO.

Wow. Here I was proud of her progress lol. I tried to look at the hands and the path, admittedly I'm as lost as a ball in high weeds regarding swingsthe way you guys can see it. What did you see in the lower half?

Dropping hands and the barrel path is downward. To me it looks like a 'top down' swing. DD isn't getting much 'drive' from her core/middle. Seems to be dragging rear leg at finish. I would be more concerned with the bat/barrel path. Also I don't like the 'sway' to start the non-coil. This is JMHO others may see it different or better.

It is actually amazing how different her swings are tee versus soft toss...so now of course I think what we need is front toss,BP or machine so we can see what her swing really looks like.

In both swings though she is over her rear leg, in any kind of physical motion we usually don't want to be over like that, it's not good for joints and it is bad for your balance...you can shift your weight or distribute your weight differently but you always still want it to be inside of your body. Anyway that is the poor mans explanation not very good but the real answer is just don't anyway that is the first still with second a model example of what staying inside looks like, Lauren does not stride much more up and down front foot but this is with her weight farthest back.

The next two are to show you how the tee swings are nothing like her toss swing this is at heel plant which is always a good tell of how things are going so far in the swing and how they are going to go for the rest of the swing. In the tee swing she looks very flat footed the toss swing look much better.

Hey this is a process not an overnight thing, just keep working at it. You can just start with the negative load piece making sure she does not go over her leg, I'm still not sure but she seems to be coiling and loading much better in the toss swing so I would be hesitant to do anything right know, the hand/bat path probably should be addressed also. I'm going to start a chat with RD and company since I'm not much of a bat path guy and we will see how it plays out in the thread it should help you understand it.

Help me understand a little we always talking about turning the barrel. Can you swing without doing this because if I think I understand what you mean it does not look like her barrel ever turns it is just pulled/dragged through the zone, literally from behind to in front almost never moving at all. For some reason still work better in my head than gif (which actually have help me several times see things better so thanks) but this is what I'm seeing.
From a practical standpoint will holding the bat a little more upright help force some turn or at least let her start to feel it. If she kept her exactly same swing and made no adjustments holding the bat more upright the bat would literally go through the zone upright unless I'm missing something. Still to follow upload is messing up on me.
