Here's a quick 1 swing video first time swinging it this was at her second hitting lesson so be nice she needs a lot of work on her swing mechanics and is trying to learn to use her lower body in her swing.

Praying she heals quickly...don't rush it an extra week now is better than re injuring and making it worse.

Not sure you want the complete analysis since like you said she needs lots of work I would go to the sticky threads and find the one that talks about the hitting sequence.

Biggest thing like you mentioned is getting her lower body involved her swing looks all arm now, but even if it is all arms she need to work on swing path right now she drop her hands down and swings flat which is a no-no.

Thank you. I totally agree thats why she started lessons she won't listen to me & everything you said is what her Hitting coach has been explaining to her so she just needs to keep at it practicing.

Sounds like Ray Ray's younger sister.

Junebugs best friend... It's his dd's cousin on her uncle Ray Rays side of the family. You know.... He used to hang out at Mom and thems house, the one on the corner, it's that one little Mike got arrested at... I heard that girl did time when she was 8... So she probably got swolled up in the yard

She’d generate more speed with a lighter, shorter bat. I had a big kid too and assumed she’d need a big bat. After she got one the right size her power and average skyrocketed.

Too heavy of a bat at young ages will create poor swing mechanics. Watch out for severe bat drag and shoulder drop with a nasty wrist roll. Or you could get with Coresoftball20 for a sweet deal on that LXT (in her size) now!...

Looks like a strong kid, but also looks like shes having a tough time getting that big piece of lumber around (all shoulders and arms, lower body looks to be balancing and not being used). Bet a appropriate bat size (32/22?) will help her utilize lower body and hands.

She has her 32/21 that she can still swing if needed shes trying out this bat and it was her first time swinging it she was probably on swing #100+ for the session I don't want to judge her with something so new to her was going to give it a few weeks to see how she's doing and what changes need to be made. I did order a LXT 34 from Core bat is lighter than this RT 2.0 she's working with if we do need to go smaller I have a line of people wanting it. But who knows now with her injury....

Not here.
her second hitting lesson
No offense, I don't care what size bat your DD was swinging. This isn't the swing sequence/mechanics your DD should be using or being 'not' taught. You need to read....so, what ever size bat your DD uses she will have a chance of making contact with the ball.
probably on swing #100+ for the session
And the hitting coach made no adjustments..........

Any hitting coach that would let her swing that bat doesn't know what he's doing. Find a new instructor.
