She hits the ball hard but hits a lot of grounders. The front leg lift is a little exaggerated because her dad has been asking her to work on lifting it higher. Usually she has a very small shift if any at all.

Thanks in advance

Address the sequence and could have a productive swing here.

Things I would address ...
First that raised leg, this is asking for timing issues later. Fix that now.
Second the bat at toe touch is a tad too flat and should be at 45 degrees cutting right through the ear. It is close, but makes a difference.
Also she torks her hands back too far. It's fine at the start, but then she torks them behind her head. (Along with all the other extra movement)

So for all those points listed, "quieting" her swing is necessary. She has too much movement.

Load, toe touch, heel pant, start back knee with back elbow to the slot and hips start rotating.

her contact position is actually impressive.

next thing to address she rolls over too soon. Practice drill. Start at contact and get to power V. Do that 25 times
Then she can see down the barrel.
Then she can roll her wrists after power V with a nice finish.

she has a lot of movement in the beginning of her swing but her forward movement stops.

Practice after contact, bringing that back hip through. You can take a Bat and put it behind her back and hold it with her elbows.. Line up a tee (off her front hip). with her bat path. She can swing the bat, bring that hip trough, she has no choice, and hit the ball off the tee.
(So the bat is behind her back across her lower back being held with both elbows).

And please don't be offended, I would get contacts or prescription goggles. It makes a huge difference, I know from experience! Glasses can slip when sweating..and usually don't fit nicely in a helmet.

She has a ton of potential!!

Personally, I'd pass on this recommendation here.

Yeager said it well .....

The best advice would be to read all you can here, study gifs, and learn what a good swing looks like. Study "forward by coil" and try it yourself. Once I finally got the feel and started to teach my daughter, her hitting improved greatly. Start with the lower half and work up. I would stop the backwards rocking to start with. The weight should stay inside of the rear knee. She has a bit of "all back/all forward" going on. Hips should go forward "by coil" with hands staying back creating a stretch. Others can talk more in depth. Study it and try it yourself before trying to teach it.

Thanks for The input. I have played but being in my 40's now it was a long, long......long time ago. I did not play long - my game was basketball. Her dad was the baseball player but he doesn't have the patience to work with her and she doesn't have the patience to listen to him so I am the main "bucket mom". We practice daily and I figured I would help her the best I can. I do take her to lessons but they are once a week for 30 minutes - we work daily and I want to make sure I am addressing the concepts that will help her start hitting more consistently. She has the highest RBI #'s on her team, however, she has a low on base percentage because she is slow and gets thrown out at first. I figured if I can help her hit more line drives instead of grounders she might have a better on base %. She is 10 and really doesn't care about QAB or even RBI's right now. She only thinks about how often she is safe at first after a hit.

I am on this board every day trying to find ways to help her improve in both hitting and pitching. I appreciate all of the knowledge on this site.
