Looking for insight on a good choi,e for a composite bat in cold weather.

Heading into November, and then into February and March, we'll see some 40 degrees games. DD has used aluminum practice bat in some cold games, but it really lacks the punch of her CF6.

Drilling through a lot of past posts has only revealed very limited references to the Easton Stealth, and to aluminum bats by Anderson or Rockettech.

Appreciate any thoughts...

DD used a 2013 Easton FX2 1 piece composite this past spring when temperatures were as low as 40 degrees and it held up well. She used it quite often in those temps (2-3 times per week) and other than the the normal scrapes and a few paint chips the bat looks great. It held up so well that I purchased a 2014 model that we will use in spring of 2015.

I let my DD use last years composite bat in cold weather. It is her practice bat, so it if breaks we already have this years model ready to go. If that is not an option find a used Rocketech on Ebay.

Grateful for the input.Two follow-ups:

Opinions on performance of suggested Anderson bats vs. cf6, lxt, or similar?

One piece bats seem to be viewed as sturdier than two piece, which is logical, since a joint would be assumed a weak spot. But if something gives in the cold, is likely to be at the joint, somewhere else between the hands and the point of impact, or at the point of impact itself?

Anybody have personal experience with this? Like other posters have noted, I've never actually seen a bat break in cold weather.
