Look What We did to our Rip-It Mask!

So a kindly person on DFP sent me a used one since we lost ours and I wanted to show what we did to it.

She loves it!

The tension allows the visor to stay up if say the coach is talking.

It's a catchers-umpire sun visor.
Why didn't I think of this years ago......I'm an idiot.

Of course it can detatch. You just have to undo the top strap and pull it out. See that little hole in in the middle. The strap goes through there. I am sure with more thought and engineering degree, it can be attached differently. But I tried for a while and this was the best. Underneath, put it into her nose and if a ball hit it it would push it in further. Of course it is probably going to get scratched up pretty easily, but I am thrilled that the tension of wearing the mask allows it to stay in the up position. It doesn't when the mask is off. Easy Peasy!!!

I showed my DD the visor attachment for the rip it mask and she thought it looked "uncool" and said she wouldn't wear it, so I came up with this.
