I need to get some wiffles or limited flight balls, and can't decide which way to go. I had the TCB wiffles, loved them, and lost them. Since they are pretty pricey, I want to consider some alternatives. Great balls, but slippery little buggers. They seems to get lost easily. So, what is the latest and greatest?

Back on the dirt...
TCB wiffles, as you know.
Anywhere ball or mojo ball, very durable but still a little "slippery". They fly pretty good but are painless and won't cause damage.

Beans. Dried beans are really cheap. Better where shades though.

I have tried many different kinds. The Mojo ball is the absolute best I have found. Very soft in that it doesn't hurt when you get hit with it and if not hit square goes straight up or straight down. Pitch from about 15'+ and the girls get bragging rights for hitting me. Flies farther than the original TCB but a lot less than wiffles, TCB wiffles and Light Flights. Pitches better than wiffles when windy, but will move with a strong breeze. Rarely have a breeze strong enough though. We mix up the Mojo and TCBs for pre-tournament warm up.

PS Don't order the knock off from China on ebay. They are NOT the same and fly a lot further than the real Mojo ball.

Thanks, Rob.

Ok, I will give the mojo's a try and get a handful of TCB wiffles again too. I stopped using the heavies for front toss due to some bad habits developing.

I throw both the TCBs and the Mojos in the same session, mixing it up to make sure they are not changing their swing.

The TCB Wiffles will travel quite a bit farther than the Mojos, and will hurt if you are too close, but they are nice if you have the room.

Thanks, Rob.
