Bad pair of Ringors?

I bought DD a new pair of Ringor metal cleats before the fall season and within a short time the seam on the tongue had started to wear. Fast forward to last weekend and she shows me a seam on the top of the shoe (pinky toe side) that is popping open. She didn't wear the shoe from October-March. We've had lots of Ringors over the years and never had many problems. We did have terrible luck with a pair or 2 of mens turf shoes. Anyone else seeing lesser quality lately?

Nope have not had an problems with Ringors. My niece and DD have been wearing them and have out last all other cleats. No pitching from my two but a lot of wear on the diamond. A lot of girls on my older team have been rocking them for years as well enjoying how durable and long lasting they have been. They are the best cleat I have ever bought with great customer care when i had problems. Sorry they have not been working for you.

DD has the turf shoes for scrimmages indoors on turf, molded for scrimmages and games indoors on dirt and metals for everything else. All 3 are going on 3 years old. They need cleaned but they're still going strong. I agree with SD. Contact their Customer Service Dept. They are outstanding. The few times I had to contact them they really went above and beyond to solve my problem.

I did contact them and am waiting on a return call. I didn't call until Friday. I ordered another pair too since they were on sale and I had a 10% off offer. Can't beat a pair of Ringors for $40.

A single point of pitching-shoe data:

DD had to have a pair of "all the girls are wearing these" Nike Hyperdiamond.

Game 2 - the pitching toe seam opens up. (why did I listen to DD again.......)

BUT - I DID find a great shoe repair product => JB Weld "Plastic-Weld" quick setting epoxy (Target)

DD loves the Ringor shoes purchased 2 pair last year and both are wearing well, one for practice and one for games. The practice pair was a refurbished pair which some times they have at a cheaper price.
