Just like it says;) there are so many choices out there. I'm thinking 17oz would be about heaviest. Any brands better then others? All these different models have my head spinning!!lol

DeMarini cf6 or cf7 28/17 or 29/18. Great 10u bat and very well balanced. I also love Xenos but only for your stronger players. That being said I do not have experience with the -11 Xenos. The Xenos are more end loaded than the DeMarinis.

Another vote for cf5/6/7. A close second would be Demarini Vendetta if she needs something lighter (less money too).

another -11 bat that look interesting is the '14 Worth Legit (neon-green lettering. the blue ones are -10).
These can be found generously discounted, especially in 30" and shorter lengths

My 9yr old is a few inches shy and a few short of the weight. She has the CF6 (29/18) and the new Xeno (30/19) both -11. weighed the new xeno and came out to 20 ounces. cf6 true to weight. DD a lefty with a little juice, with the cf6... consistent middle shots, line drives and a few shots in the outfield(20 ft pass 2nd). She brought the xeno and cf6 out for her tryouts at the plate, used the xeno right out the wrapper and hits a bomb in center field with one hop to the fence. After that, cf6 hasnt been pulled out. had a tourney this weekend, three perfect slaps at the 5-6 hole and a bomb in left field. However for some reason she doesnt like to bunt with the xeno....she say xeno bunts go to far and grabs the cf6 for bunts. crazy 9 yr old.

At 10U, I highly recommend an inexpensive bat.
I respectfully disagree.

At this age, being able to hit the ball 20-30' father makes a girl feel good and brings great confidence. Good bats like the Xeno and CF also won't sting her hands, which is absolutely HUGE at this age for the girls to have the best possible experience.

Once you hit 30" bats, then there is a decent resale market for good bats, as well. A CF or a Xeno will bring a nice sum after it has been outgrown, allowing some pain relief on the next size up.
