Miken -12 bats
Does anybody have any experience with the Miken Halo Light or Icon Light bats. Both are -12 bats I'm considering for my 12yo daughter. They seem pretty close in price and am wondering if one is better than the other, or if either/both should be avoided.

I don't think you'll find better 12 oz. drop bats than Miken. Either one has great pop.
We have 2 Miken Lights. Pretty good bat for a smaller player. The only thing I will warn you about is that this bat really needs to be broken in. I was ready to get rid of these bats until they were broken in. The bat is extremely dead until broken in, but once broken in, it has great pop.
I have a player that uses the Halo Light and loves it. She even liked it through the break in stage, she is even thinking of getting another since she used it all high school season and then all summer and doesn't know how much it has left in it, and wants to start breaking in another.
I believe the Halo was made before the standards changed (2008) so once broken in will have more pop than the Icon.
My daughter loved her Halo light and if you are patient you can find some great deals on Ebay. She wanted to go to a 10 drop and I found an icon on ebay for $61 still in the wrapper
