DD pitches, and the Ringors have been what she has used for several years. We are thinking of giving the Mizuno Sweep 2 a try. Does anyone have have feedback on these shoes?

Looks promising, but I'm a little gun-shy of Miz cleats for pitchers at the moment. My DD's Miz Swifts went through the toe in a hurry.

My DD pitches too and really likes the way the Mizunos fit her feet. So after going through one pair fast, we followed her PCs recommendation to use "tuff toe."

Went to their web site and they have a couple options. They partner with a few companies and carry a few models from each manufacturer. You can order the shoe and have them apply the stuff and mail it back. Specify the color and that they're for a fastpitch pitcher and they double-coat the toe. Nice pair of cleats that are holding up really well after 5 months or so.

Another option is to buy their product and do it yourself, and another option is to send them your DDs pivot shoe and specify color and that she's fastpitch.

Just got a pair for DD. They run small. She normally wears 8.5. 9.5 in that style. Can't speak to the durability but they are very light and DD Whiteshoes Johnson looked very fast in them last weekend.

My DD wore these last season in high school and travel ball. Held up well but the toe protector was coming separated from the shoe. Was able to glue it back together.

Had the red spikes and did not get scuffed up. Probably get them for next season. Liked them felt comfortable and lightweight.
