I've been a fan of Rip-It helmets due to comfort and weight. That said, I'm interested to see more about the new Schutt Air Maxx helmets.

DD has used Rip-It helmets for 4 years now and she really likes the fit.I'm also curious about the Schutt Air Maxx helmets but I'm not sure what style her team will go with next year.I'm hoping they go with the Rip-It royal blue matte helmets ,but the royal/white Rip-it swirl helmets are what her team has used the past 4 years.

Batting helmets should be a choice not a requirement! (I'm sorry I couldn't resist).

That said I've never bought for a team, just DD. DD has a small head and the Rip-It fits her great w/o "flopping" around. If I remember correctly her prior helmet was a Rawlings in the same size that was "loose" on her head.

We've used Schutt the last two years and they seemed to fit great. Can't find anything off the rack that will compare.

Our HC has all the teams in the org with plain matte white Worths, presumably because they go with all uniform combos and reflect heat better under the Arizona sun.

I supply a pretty large org around this area and they use the Worth away helmets (Matte Purple/white) with the face mask package. Think they like the away because more color on them. They also have some of the foam insert fit kits around just in case. They have probably gotten about 75 the past 2 years.
Havent heard anything negative.
