DD just got her 33/24 Mako today and when I weighed it, it came in at 25.6 oz! I know most of our Easton bats run heavy but that's crazy. I wonder what the -8 weighs. Maybe they marked it wrong? ?
Her SRV5B weighed about 2 ounces over but most have been about 1 ounce or less for us. I'm not sure what to do. .. She has elite bat speed but not elite mechanics lol.Not out of line at all. I have seen many, many Easton bats that are 1 1/2 oz over sticker, and a few close to 2 oz.
In fact, DD has a couple of them. Par for the course.
I saw it priced at $450... is that right!?!?! (Neon green bat)[/QUOTE
You are thinking of the Torq. She got the new -9 regular Mako.
The Torq has a rotating handle. ..DD wasn't interested in that. She wanted a drop 9 and they didn't have one last year. What changes were made between the mako and torque to justify that kind of a price?
