You need to get one and give the rest of us some feedback ;)

Nothing is ever one bat...haha

I do very well keeping the SP line in check and not getting bit. I dont even see any of this bat around even though its part of their better bat line.

I'd be curious as well. In my slow pitch days I had many nice top of the line eastons - the flex, SCN9, the Helmer and such, but nothing beat the original 34/27 Combat Anti-Virus Balanced for me. Any way always thought about picking up a combat for the DD, but never hear anything about them, well except the old school virus.

My 9yo DD has a Combat Lisa Fernandez (30/18, 2-piece composite/alloy) in her bag that she likes a lot. I've just about pulled the trigger on an Avaritia 30/19 a few times, but I know she's about ready to hit another growth spurt, so I might wait until she needs a 31.

I remember you saying you bought that and she likes it but I know that bat isn't bad for the price. Nothing on the Wanted at all.

Helmer has a bat every year just like Hall, Rusty, Connell, Fulk and such. Back then, the AV was the only decent bat Combat put out. A few years ago, they started putting out some decent bats all around, but durability wasn't there and sticker weight to actual weight was off like Eastons. I like the performance of their bats, but just haven't heard about their top FP bats much.

Yep that AV was great. I only let one other person on the team use it and I remember one tournament he hit a ball and as we were running out to the field him saying "Jay I think the bat is finally dead". I said no way it's dead. Next three at bats he put the ball out of the park. I said "you still think it's dead?"

I borrowed a combat bruin bat for fungo last week.... not too shabby. Solid, good pop, no noticeable vibrations. Have yet to see it in real action though...
