    Default Easton Mako

Just looking for any reviews/experience with the new Easton Mako. I'm needing help making the decision between the Demarini cf6 and the Mako, plenty of reviews on the cf6 out there but not too many on the mako. My DD swung the cf5 last season with good results, just really curious about the mako and if its worth the $350 price it comes with.

First laid eyes on the Mako this weekend as it put one 30 feet over my left fielders head at the fence.

What size CF6 are you thinking? I have to clear out some bats before dw finds out I ordered more. I have a 32/22, it was light for dd, so I hit some fungos to the girls with it. It is pretty hot and I would go cheap.

    Update: CF6 has sold!

32 is a lil too big for my dd, shes currently swinging a 30/19 cf5 but I'm pretty sure she can handle a drop 10 and go up an ounce. Thanks for the offer though.

I am pretty sure this girl would have put one out with any bat...it sounded just like the older eastons.

I was waiting to see one in action down here in South Texas, but Eastons not a very popular brand around here. The preference down here is LS's Xeno or Demarinis Cf6, I'm really hoping I get some positive responses on the mako on this thread, kind of leaning towards purchasing that bat.

    Default mako

A tiny girl on our team has one and seems to drop them in the gap a lot.

We LOVE the CF6, even more explosive than the CF5 seems to be a bit more end loaded.

I honestly think all of these bats are good in performance. We've done a lot of hitting comparisons in the past and recently- they all did well (we didn't test the Xeno) With 33 -10 The Miken Freak edged out the CF5 after broken in (but the CF5 actually weighs 1 ounce less). Recently the Easton Fs1 -10 Edged out the -10 CF5 but again the CF5 is actually lighter so the -9 might have been a better comparison. The FX1 33-9 beat them all and was beaten by the SRV5b -9 and Easton SCN1B-10 those two tied but the 5B weighs almost 3 ounces more.
The girl that led our team in homeruns owned a Xeno, but she was also 6' tall and very athletic.
Basically, buy the bat your daughter feels the best swinging. CF's are great but DD doesn't like the feel...She thinks Xenos are ugly and sound funny. Her team mate thinks the FX1 is ugly. They all perform well.

We went with the Mako. So far it is great. It was between the Mako and the Xeno. Our salesman said the Mako is their number one seller, followed by the Xeno and then the LXT.
