My DD has a 2012 Xeno 32/22 as her primary bat, but I would like to pick up a cold weather bat that she can use in sub 50 degree weather. Was thinking about trying to find a used Rockettech, but would prefer a -10 so the two bats will have a similar feel. Any suggestions?

JAD, this is an old thread, but what did you end up choosing for a cold weather bat?

RockeTech is the way I'd go as well. My daughter uses a Stealth 32/23 for the summer and the same weight RockeTech for sub-50 weather.

just picked up a rip it elite light for cold weather. there is an anderson KFP 31" selling cheap on the bay right now.

Rip it and anderson are the better quality alloy bats.

Look at the warranty. You will find the Rip It is the only bat that covers cold weather. High School ball in Ohio had many days it was snowing. We used the old rip it for that reason. If you play golf you know what it is like hitting a cold golf ball , which is the same thing as a cold softball. They are as hard as a rock! I use to take my golf balls and put them under the hair dryer in really cold weather.

DD uses an old SCN8B in cold weather. Bought it for $70 and it swings the same as her SCN4B. The 4B gets put away when it gets under 60 degrees. We've used the 8B when temp was mid 30's with no issues other than hand sting. This bat is a tank.
