vinci fortus reviews?

I was looking at the 12" for my 11 yr old. She's a utility player and has had an 11.5 mizuno.

There are several on here. Drakemir, Chazb1 and Casedawg51 are all Vinci dealers. I know there are several others on here as well, but for the life of me, I can't remember their handles right now.
I'm sure they're all great, but I've dealt with Casedawg on 3 different occasions. He's always came through for me.

You would be on the upper end of the Fortus gloves for her age. They are really designed with the 9-13/14 year old age range. The fortus do have what Vinci calls a "pro pad" an extra layer of leather in the palm.. but as its targeted towards younger players and I don't recall it being as thick. The Fortus sports a steerhide palm, but a cow leather back - holds its shape well, but if she is playing travel or school ball I'm not sure how long it is going to hold up for you. Its a GREAT glove for the price point, but its truly designed for the younger.. just getting in ball type of players. You would get much better performace out of something like BV1000-22 might be a better fit. Send me a PM for prices.
