Trust me when I say this...let your DD try one but don't expect her to give up her RT. My DD grew up a metalhead and wanted to go composite at one point. The closest swinging composite to the RT was found after trying every top bat from every manufacturer out there. Nothing really felt right to her even though there were 2 that were close. After spending all of that time and money finding the composites, now she's back to swinging her 2014 RT and the composites sit in her bag.

In the right hands, nothing will hit the ball further, harder or be more dangerous to a softball than a RT.

ETA: The Mizuno Whiteout2 Extreme and the Combat G3 Wanted were the bats that DD felt were the closest to swinging her RT.

My dd tried to make the jump from double wall Anderson to composite with a -9 Mako. The results were disappointing. She swings -9 Xeno's now. I say make the jump soon. As good as I think the old Anderson's were, they are a dead end street. They aren't being made any more and nothing else swings like them so make the adjustment now.

Rocketflex was the best bat either one of my DD's ever swung. Still have a wall full of Rocketech's and burned out RF's What a shame that they aren't being made anymore. The RF's handle connection wasn't quite what it should be, after a year or two of bombs in practice and games it would give up the ghost but what a great bat.

Not bad bats, just typical Easton pricing when mapp drops and stores flooded with products need to liquidate. Then every store is trying
to beat everybody to get rid of them.
